Support HB 3039 - prohibit discharge of treated sewage

House Bill 3039: SUPPORT THIS BILL - Please contact Representative Patrick Rose at 463-0647 to let him know you support his bill and would like the bill to be set for a committee hearing as soon as possible. HB 3039 would prohibit discharge of treated sewage into the Contributing Zone of the Barton Springs segment of the Edwards Aquifer. Developers of the Belterra subdivision in Hays County are attempting to get the first permit to discharge treated sewage in the Contributing Zone. Learn more about the Belterra situation here.
